Thunder Pipes

Recorded in Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, Daniel Kobialka’s original piece “Antiphony Across”, was dedicated to his good friend and conductor of the Oakland Symphony, Calvin Simmons. Scored for chorus and double string arrangements, solo percussion, solo soprano, solo boy soprano, and solo electronic violin; and features the Rufatti Organ located in the San Francisco War Memorial Performing Arts Center. This recording was the premier performance.
